Women generally have higher tendency to develop osteoporosis than men. Here are some tips to take better care-

  1. Include more calcium in your diet, use foods such as yogurt which is digested easily to increase the calcium intake without taxing your digestive system.
  2. Involve in more physical exercise, the more you are active the better your muscular and skeletal health would be.
  3. Avoid substances such as tobacco and alcohol.
  4.  Intake vitamin d in your system. Vitamin D helps in calcium absorption, hence it is an important part in your diet.
  5. Get plenty of sleep. It gives time for your body to recover and keeps you in prime health.
