Should we avoid bananas for weight loss?

Those who warn against eating bananas for fear of weight gain are basing the advice on carbohydrate content, particularly sugar. Bananas are fairly high in sugar which can turn to body fat more quickly than other nutrients.

There’s no conclusive evidence that bananas make you gain or lose weight. As with all foods, the question of whether eating a banana is going to pack on the pounds or melt them off comes down to the number of calories they contain and how many calories you’re burning.

Many say that Bananas makes us fat. It actually depends on body to body and person to person. Some bodies get super fat by only eating Rice or Potatoes. Meanwhile some bodies don’t get affected by anything. Bananas are the energy boosters and provides immense glouse. If bananas are making anyone fat and you love bananas, then you could have them once a day. A 20 minutes workout or half an hour walking will burn the calories of one banana. So eat and vent out the calories by working out. This will lead to happy stomach and happy health.

I know that it is good for anaemic people. But whether it can make us fat or not, I have no idea.

Bananas help to gain weight.

Do bananas make you gain weight? No. They won’t. Don’t be afraid that a banana will make you fat; a normal banana contains about 150 calories max. The false interpretation that a banana makes you gain weight is commonly based on the fact that a banana contains a relative large amount of  carbs, of which natural fruit sugars. These sugars are  broken down into glucose, which provides your body with energy to move your leg, make a step, walk etc. That’s a good thing! Did you know your brain can’t even function without glucose? To keep it simple: to gain weight, you’ll need to eat more calories than you burn. You can imagine that a person who needs 2.500 kcal on a daily base, won’t gain weight over a banana.
