Although I am not in any position to speak about this in any regard as I’m a tea addict myself, yes it’s not healthy consuming tea on a regular basis. Maybe you can tone it down to once a day to be on the safer side . Besides that way you won’t grow immune to it’s effect.

Caffeine is not the only alkaloid it contains. It also has theophylline which can lead to toxicity if consumed in excess. It may lead to withdrawal symptoms.

From my personal experience, excess tea consumption is responsible for killing your appetite and leading to acidity, gastritis and in many cases gastric ulcer. Those who consume heavy amounts of tea and coffee for a long period of time may be detected with ulcer. Apart from that it kills your appetite enough so that you won’t eat and may either end up hypoglycemic everytime or this may lead to more conservation of minute quantities of glucose taken in the body in form of more adipose tissues leading to obesity.

Apart from that tea may be a leading factor in causing osteoporosis as it reduces Calcium intake from intestines and stimulates parathormone to take calcium from bones into the serum. Apart from that tea and coffee are a major cause of anaemia as noticed in chronic tea and coffee drinkers. They inhibit absorption of Iron from alimentary canal and thus tea shouldn’t be consumed with any Iron rich substance like banana.

The person may end up with severe migraines, sleepless nights feeling tired and drained throughout the day as a result. At other occasions he may feel a bit too hyperactive, palpitations, inattentive and forgetful.

On an overall analysis, drinking tea is not exactly bad yet excess of anything is bad hence there should be a balance. Maybe consuming lighter mixes of tea like lemon tea rather than black tea (over caffeinated) once in a blue moon may help. Preferably light milk tea or lemon tea once a day is the best remedy or on alternate days with occasional skipping to make sure you are not addicted to it.

you can have mild tea 2 twice in a day without sugar and milk. if you are having with lots of sugar than it is not healthy at all. in long run you could face lot of health issues.

It depends on which type of tea are you having. if you are having green tea then not to worry it is good for health. But if you are having tea containing milk and sugar then you should have it once a day only and not more than that.

Yes, everything in excess is harmful to the body. Try restricting yourself to one cup or at most one cup and not more than that. I drink milk tea every alternate day in substitute to coffee. But I do consume green tea every single day. It is extremely beneficial to the health. My favourite kind of tea is green tea. It is actually good for your body. Green tea is effective when used for weight loss. It has antioxidants which are extremely good for the body. Instead of adding sugar, you could add honey and lemon juice to it. It gives a different flavour to it. You could also try out new flavours by adding ginger or cinnamon powder to it.

Black tea with Milk is especially harmful. Try switching to Green Tea or some light tea so that it harms you less later on.

It depends on what type of tea you are having. And the quantity of sugar. It Herts your stomach by taking hot tea.

No, generally it’s not unless you are suffering from high blood pressure or hypertension. Tea is a beverage that provides a boost to your blood pressure, hence increasing your metabolism and providing more of oxygen to your muscles. 2-3 times a day is still okay, but one should keep in mind that excess of anything is harmful.

I didn’t think so that having tea 2-3 times a day harmful to anyone. In fact, it is scientifically proven that there is a special kind of ingredient is found in tea which causes us to improve our memory(learning) power. I usually take tea more than 3 times in a day. There are also some disadvantages to taking more cup of teas but 2-3 times did not affect much at any cost.
