Songs can trigger so many different memories depending on what mood you’re listening to them with. Every song is special in their own way. But I don’t particularly like songs that are unintentionally encouraging rape cultures. Mumble rap is sometimes annoying and doesn’t even compare with the original rap songs by Tupac, Dr Dre, Eminem etc. I love R&B and blues. All kinds of genres. I’m always on the lookout for a good song.

The one song that is always on repeat in my playlist is Hotel California by Eagles. It’s a classic, beautiful song that will keep you humming every time you hear it. My mother in fact introduced me to it, told me she one had a friend who would play it on a guitar. I’ve bren listening to that song for as long as I can remember. It’s the gentle, calm and strong lyrics and guitar solo that intrigues me. I love spending lonely days with this music loud and playing some complimentary air guitar.

Some close seconds are Winds Of Change by Scorpions, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and I’ll Be Seeing You by Billie Holiday. They’re just as magnificent.

Comfort songs usually differs depending upon the thing that make you seek comfort in the first place. The time and place matters too. In the soothing quiet dawn of the morning, songs like The Kinks’ ‘Wonderboy’ stir your heart and opens up your soul to the curiosity of the world. In the hustle of work, ‘Mad World’ gives you goosebumps as you take a deep breath and close your eyes and move on. After a tiring day at work, you sit in the red of dusk, sipping your coffee singing along to ‘Waterloo Sunset’ by The Kinks’. Bowie, Queen, Coke Studio, Jagjit Singh, Mukesh, G-Dragon and so many more, they all speak to your soul and take you to this surrealist world which is your constant source of inspiration. You end the night with Jeff Buckley’s ‘Hallelujah’ which with its tune and voice steals your consciousness away as you lull into the darkness of the night

A thousand years by Christina Perri.

I like the melody and the lyrics.

“I have died everyday waiting for you
Darling don’t be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more”

I don’t think a lover could say anything more romantic to his/her love.

It is a song of promise, and I believe love is ultimately the promise to care for, despite everything else.

that song is a complete beauty.

I too love the lyrics of the song. But I love Perri’s ‘Jar of Hearts’ more.

I mostly like Bollywood and English music. My favorite singer is Arijit Singh. There is a movie called Andhadhun  starring Ayushman Khurana,Radhika Apte and Tabu. The movie was rated as best Bollywood movie of 2018. Amit Trivedi gave exceptional music for every song. But my favorite is Wo Ladiki sung by Arijit Singh.Other songs also like Naina da kya kasoor and Laila Laila also was great.

Depending on my mood, there are various songs that get repeated on my playlist. But the most replays earned by a song is this one song by the Kpop group, BTS, it’s called “Love Yourself:Answer”. Despite, the majority of thew song being in Korean, the chorus is in English so at one go, you do get an idea about what the song’s trying to say. It is basically a self love anthem celebrating oneself; Asking us to not be so harsh on ourselves and instead appreciate and love ourselves. It is a beautiful song with a beautiful positive message so I like listening to it most often.

I like Prateek Kuhad songs especially Tum Jab Pas aati hoThis song reminds me of my old school love days which was pure and unadulterated. The love which doesn’t see status,  money and fame like what happens nowadays. It reminds me of ❤️ the summers of 2005.

This song is very sweet, it doesn’t show the face of actor and actress in the song and purely used props to tell how one feels butterfly in the stomach for the first love and how being career orientated change their love.

I love listening to Enrique Iglesias’s El Bano.

I love his voice. It’s the perfect mix of melody and sexiness.

Air supply: making love out of nothing at all

It is not a very famous track.I found it from the very famous movie Mr and Mrs Smith while Brad pitt plays this track on their car stereo.

the tune and lyrics are equally catchy, with the music starting on a base note, and reaching a climax, and reaching a second climax.
