The Indian school system has reached its expiry date. Today, kids, teens, and people, in general, want to pursue their passion and not what their family wants. Tattoo artists, writers, gamers and the sort are the career options take seriously today.

Students are struggling to concentrate in class. Pubg isn’t to blame here. The question to be asked is why? Why do students prefer sleeping, chatting, texting, and doing everything else other than paying attention in class?

Professors think using PPTs to teach will make everything better, just like people think having a child will solve marital problems. Teachers should find a way to connect to students in a way they want to connect. Take the kids to the playground and explain subjects like physics. Instead of giving them a book and forcing them to read, tell them to write a story of their own that they want to see on bookshelves for the world to read. Encourage gamers. During free period, invite students to talk about their passion that is free from the shackles of the Indian schooling system.

Exams are important, but they don’t define where you will end up tomorrow – should be the motto when teaching.

Change is required. We might beat the other countries when it comes to marks, but are we really doing what we love?

Wow! This is so true. It looks like you have actually put a thought into it. Normally we hear that the system should be changed and it is currently very bad and that’s it. Nothing else. But that is not what you wrote. It is really nice to see a more well explained answer for this same routine regular question

Indian schooling system is not at all student friendly. It just emphasis on making student mug up the whole syllabus and then vomit it in exam papers. No intellectual ideas, no fun, the Indian kids don’t gain any knowledge they just learn how to get good marks.

There is no question of doubt that we need a new system of education, we can’t say that this system is old but we are gaining nothing from this system, what we are gaining is ” A theory education which is not use in practica” trust me go and ask any student how to calculate a practical question most of them are not answerable of that, here in this era even we study about physical in book there is rare school who gives equal concentrate on games or practical education. we are just studying for a better job which can we get by learning a book but this world needs more than a book learning. we need a lot of changes in this system we need it

Definitely. More than the education system, the education we receive should be changed. We should be taught more about practical stuff, rather than bookish details only.

Indian education system is the very typical example of spoon feeding. Students are confined only to textbook materials. Getting a good grade is what they define as a path to a successful future.

I think one thing schools should focus more on is making the students independent. They should be taught how to voice of their opinions. They should be trained to question the wrongs in society.

Moreover a good education should aim to sculpt an individual with good moral values.

Since the last few years we have seen many changes in Indian school system. After the introduction of CCE by CBSE, the school aims for overall development of child.

But from a student point of view some subjects have been burdened for me.

Let me discuss in detail-

Being a commerce with maths student, I always feel regret that Why I have chosen Maths as one of my subject, even I know that I don’t have to persue with Maths hons. in my future. I was a commerce student and higher level of maths which included integration, differentiation, trigo are not linked with my future.

So I would suggest that Maths should be of 2 types i.e. Basic maths and Integrated maths.

and It should be a choice of student to choose as per his comfort.
